TikTok Dance Contest II terms and conditions
- Eligibility
1.1 Participation is open to TikTok users who are 18 years or older.
1.2 The contest is free to join.
1.3 Participants must have a TikTok account in good standing and agree to these terms.
1.4 Participants must be able to accept guest requests and show the camera without violating TikTok’s terms. - How to Join
2.1 To join, participants must comment “I join” and their country or state on the official contest announcement videos, for example “I join from Spain”, “I join from New York”, “I join from Mexico”.

2.2 The term “Join” is used to simplify understanding for an international audience.
2.3 Participants are selected based on livestream activity, audience engagement, likes on the “Join” comment, or a short audition if required. - Format
3.1 The contest will follow a 1v1 knockout bracket, starting with up to 64 participants.
3.2 All matches Best of 1 (BO1), until the semifinals bracket BO3 and the final bracket BO5.
3.3 Only the number of rounds needed to determine the winner will be played (e.g., 2–0 ends a BO3).
3.4 Each match features a full song. Songs are selected by the organizer during early rounds and by participants during the semifinals and final brackets. - Scheduling
4.1 Matches will be played during two weekends:
Weekend 1.
– Saturday, November 29, 18:00 GMT+1: Round of 64, Round 32. The matches will be played in random order.
Weekend 2:
– Saturday, December 6, 18:00 GMT+1: Round 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final.
4.2 The official match schedule, bracket, and related content will be published on the official contest website. - Match Rules
5.1 All matches are streamed live on TikTok.
5.2 Each round winner is determined by a point-based system, based on audience interaction during the music:
Typing 1 in the chat = vote for Participant 1 → 3 points
Typing 2 in the chat = vote for Participant 2 → 3 points
Gifts: Each 1 coin = 1 point
(e.g., a 100-coin gift = 100 points, a 5,000-coin gift = 5,000 points)
🟢 Important: Only one vote per viewer every 20 seconds will be counted. The viewers can vote several times to their favourite participants.
5.3 Only votes and gifts received while the duel with the music is playing will be counted.
Votes or gifts submitted after the song ends will not be included in the score.
5.4 Participants must dance during the performance. Remaining idle or failing to perform will be considered a violation of the contest purpose and may lead to disqualification.
5.5 Requesting or soliciting gifts (e.g., with text on screen or gestures encouraging gifting) is strictly prohibited. This is a dance contest, and violations may result in immediate disqualification.
5.6 In case of a tie (equal total points for both participants), the winner will be decided by a coin toss, conducted live by the Organizer:
Heads = Participant 1 wins
Tails = Participant 2 wins - Attendance
6.1 Participants must be ready and connected at the time of the event.
6.2 A maximum grace period of 5 minutes is granted to join when called for the match. Failure to appear may result in automatic loss.

7.1 During matches, guests will be muted as soon as the music begins.
7.2 Participants and guests must not enable the microphone during the performance to avoid unwanted interruptions.
7.3 The organization reserves the right to mute any user during the performance.
7.4 If a participant or guest intentionally enables the microphone (not due to platform error), this may result in disqualification.
7.5 We are aware of potential bugs in the TikTok microphone system. To mitigate accidental sounds, participants are strongly encouraged to reduce mic volume to the minimum possible before performing or disable the microphone. - Final Prize
8.1 The winner will receive a “Universe” gift or equivalent prize (in case Universe is not available) sent through TikTok.
8.2 Prizes are awarded at the sole discretion of the Organizer and may be adjusted if the contest format or participation changes.
8.3 The prize may increase at anytime as well based on sponsors or supporters. - Anti-Cheat Policy
9.1 To protect fair competition, the Organizer reserves the right to exclude votes or engagement that come from accounts suspected of spam, automation, vote manipulation, or bot activity.
9.2 We do not disclose detection methods, to prevent system abuse.
9.3 Suspicious accounts will not be counted, but the participant will not be penalized unless there is clear and intentional cheating by them.
9.4 The Organizer may apply restrictions or ignore certain votes to maintain contest integrity.
9.5 We are committed to ensuring a fair experience for all participants. - Organizer Rights
10.1 The Organizer may adjust matchups, reschedule games, or change format in case of technical issues or other unforeseen problems.
10.2 Any updates will be communicated through the contest’s official communication channels. - Songs
The following songs will be played in the corresponding rounds, The song picks for the semi-finals and final are chosen from participants from a list of songs that will be published here. They participants decide the songs on the fly during the round.
